Finance options
Contact your bank, if you have a mortgage
Many major banks can add the amount needed for insulation and heating to your mortgage without extra fees. Some banks offer interest-free top-ups of your mortgage for insulation and heating. This means that for around $20 a week you can have a warm, comfortable home (amount depending on size of house and insulation required). ANZ welcomes applications for interest free top ups, up to $5000 for insulation and up to a further $5000 for Heat pumps. Westpac offers up to $10,000 interest free for five years. Kiwibank will top up a $5000 loan by $2000.
If you are with another provider, please contact them for details.
